Burns an’ a’ that Workshop 2012

A 90 minute fully interactive workshop led by two Drama Facilitators.  Explores Robert Burns’ life, his poetry and life in Scotland at that time.

Active learning will be encouraged through children’s questioning and interaction, using drama conventions such as hot seating, thought tracking and conscience alley; and by creating scenarios using freeze frame and other drama techniques.

By emotionally engaging the pupils in a fun, exciting and inclusive format, the workshop actively increases their knowledge of and interest in Robert Burns and Scottish history and culture.  The workshops will link closely with the 4 capacities of the CfE.
